CTSA Employment Network – Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
By submitting an Employer Intake Form, Job Seeker Form, job posting, application, résumé, or other information through the CTSA Employment Network, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By participating in the CTSA Employment Network, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
If you are submitting information on behalf of an employer or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act on behalf of that employer or organization.
If you are registering or applying as an individual job seeker, you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
2. Purpose of the Employment Network
The CTSA Employment Network has been developed to connect employers with qualified job seekers interested in careers within the transportation, logistics, warehousing, office, and related industries.
Job seekers may include Ontario Truck Driving School (OTDS) graduates, experienced commercial drivers, and other qualified professionals seeking employment opportunities.
Participation in the CTSA Employment Network does not guarantee employment, interviews, job offers, referrals, applicants, or successful hiring outcomes.
3. Employer Responsibilities
Employers agree to:
- Provide complete, accurate, and current information.
- Submit only legitimate employment opportunities.
- Ensure all job postings comply with applicable federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal legislation.
- Conduct recruitment activities professionally, fairly, and without discrimination.
- Notify CTSA if submitted information becomes inaccurate or outdated.
- Maintain the confidentiality of any personal information received through the Employment Network.
4. Job Seeker Responsibilities
Job seekers agree to:
- Provide accurate and current personal, employment, licence, certification, and qualification information.
- Submit truthful résumés, applications, and supporting documents.
- Maintain professional conduct when communicating with employers and CTSA.
- Notify CTSA if significant information affecting their profile changes.
- Keep login credentials, where applicable, secure and confidential.
5. Review of Information
CTSA reserves the right to review employer registrations, job seeker registrations, job postings, applications, and other submitted information before publication or use within the Employment Network.
CTSA may edit formatting, decline, suspend, remove, or request corrections to submitted information that:
- contains false, misleading, incomplete, or inaccurate information;
- does not relate to legitimate employment opportunities or job seeking;
- violates applicable laws or regulations;
- contains offensive, discriminatory, fraudulent, defamatory, or inappropriate content;
- infringes upon the rights of another individual or organization; or
- is determined to be inconsistent with the purpose of the CTSA Employment Network.
6. Collection and Use of Information
Information submitted through the CTSA Employment Network may be used to:
- administer and operate the Employment Network;
- communicate with employers and job seekers;
- facilitate employment referrals and employment opportunities;
- verify submitted information where appropriate;
- maintain employer and job seeker records; and
- improve Employment Network services.
Each participant is responsible for ensuring that their submitted information remains accurate and current.
7. Privacy
CTSA will collect, use, retain, store, and disclose personal and organizational information only as reasonably necessary to administer the CTSA Employment Network and related employment services, in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
Personal information will only be shared in accordance with participant consent and applicable privacy requirements.
8. Employment Referrals
Where appropriate, CTSA may facilitate introductions or referrals between employers and qualified job seekers.
CTSA does not guarantee:
- referrals;
- applications;
- interviews;
- employment offers;
- successful hiring;
- the suitability of any employer or job seeker; or
- continued employment following a hire.
All hiring decisions remain solely the responsibility of the employer.
9. Participant Conduct
All participants agree to:
- interact professionally and respectfully;
- comply with applicable employment, human rights, workplace health and safety, accessibility, and privacy legislation;
- use the Employment Network only for lawful employment-related purposes; and
- refrain from submitting misleading, fraudulent, abusive, or inappropriate information.
Misuse of the Employment Network may result in the suspension or removal of access.
10. Limitation of Liability
CTSA, its employees, officers, directors, volunteers, educational partners, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damages, claims, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
- participation in the CTSA Employment Network;
- employer hiring decisions;
- job seeker employment decisions;
- the accuracy or completeness of submitted information;
- actions taken by employers or job seekers;
- referrals facilitated through the Employment Network; or
- temporary interruption, suspension, or unavailability of the Employment Network.
11. Modification or Termination
CTSA reserves the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or update the CTSA Employment Network or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
12. Fees
Participation in the CTSA Employment Network is currently provided at no cost during the pilot phase.
CTSA reserves the right to introduce employer participation fees, job posting fees, premium services, or other charges in the future. Advance notice will be provided prior to the implementation of any fees.
13. Acceptance
